The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has designed RT-PCR assays and published a protocol for the detection of the 2019-nCoV. IDT provides primers and probes for these CDC assays for the identification of virus. The primers and probes are manufactured at IDT under ISO 13485:2016 conditions and are available for research use only (RUO).
