The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has designed RT-PCR assays and published a protocol for the detection of the 2019-nCoV. IDT provides primers and probes for these CDC assays for the identification of virus. The primers and probes are manufactured at IDT under ISO 13485:2016 conditions and are available for research use only (RUO). The kits include primers and 5’ FAM / ZEN™ / 3’ Iowa Black™ FQ probes. 2019-nCoV controls* are available separately.
