In 1937, a young Engineer at Goodyear Rubber names Nelson K Moses stood at a train station and had a thought. “Why don’t they use rubber on the railroads?” With that thought, he began a company which specialized in massive track systems that had less vibration due to the use of rubber. Since 1937, when our company became the first to use rubber on the railroad, International Track Systems has built a reputation as one of the most reliable material suppliers across multiple industries including Railroad, Truck Body, and many others. In the 2000s, ITS continued to penetrate the rail market with existing products, allowing for growth in a steady, consistent manner.
