Founded in 2008 by Brian Emerick and licensed intellectual property from Purdue Research Foundation, Nanovis has become the market leader in nanotechnology used to improve the biological response of implanted orthopedic devices. Through its subsidiary Nanovis Spine, Nanovis commercialized its proprietary bioceramic nanotube surface on a family of spinal implants include enhanced PEEK interbodies with porous titanium endplates and pedicle screws. Nanovis is working to add a bactericidal capability to our fixation technologies as well as technology to treat and prevent localized infections, even those caused by some of the most virulent and deadly antibiotic resistant bacteria in the world today.
