Secoya Technologies

Secoya Technologies, a spin-off of the Université Libre de Bruxelles launched in September 2019, develops unique technologies and equipment for the manufacturing of (bio)-pharmaceutical products. The core principle is to adapt industrial process equipment to the best scale, with the objective to optimize and better control production processes. This principle is applied to four process operations: crystallisation, micro-encapsulation, pervaporation and chemical synthesis. The smart combination of these complementary technologies offers a unique solution on the market. Based in Louvain-La-Neuve, close to a rich ecosystem of pharma / biotech industries, the company is supported today by strong clients who helps improve the technology, and has the ambition to scale up internationally.
