osteomiR - microRNA Biomarkers Kit of Bone Quality
The osteomiR® test enables parallel measurement of 19 carefully selected and validated microRNA biomarkers of bone quality in human serum samples. The osteomiR® software can be used for individual analysis of all 19 microRNA biomarkers, as well as for the calculation of a fracture-risk score. This score is based on multivariate microRNA model.
thrombomiRs - microRNA Biomarkers of Platelet Function
Circulating platelet microRNAs (thrombomiRs®) are novel biomarkers for intrinsic and on-treatment platelet reactivity. thrombomiRs® are secreted from platelets during their activation and can be detected in plasma and serum. Commonly used platelet function tests e.g. LTA, VerifyNow® or PFA-100®, require fresh blood and agonists. Therefore, they clearly lack standardization and their analytical variability may induce misinterpretations. The thrombomiR® kit enables an in vivo measure of platelet function, independently of the activation pathway.
toxomiR - microRNA Biomarkers of Toxicity
The term toxomiR refers to a selection of 19 microRNAs that are enriched in various tissues. Toxicant-induced changes in the transcription and secretion of toxomiRs are highly sensitive to toxic effects occuring in the liver, kidney, central nervous system, heart, muscle, lung, pancreas, vascular injury, and due to endocrine disruption. ToxomiRs can be analyzed in serum or plasma. This recently published review, gives detailed insight into the clinical utility of circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of toxicity.
