Each Vital Gas ampoule is designed to be activated by breaking its neck, taking it through the diffuser bag. The container bag is permeable and acts as a membrane whose function is to retain the gas and slowly give it off emitted by the ampoule and slowly download during the sterilization period. The sterilization process is 16 hours; in this period of time, the material is sterilized and vented.
