Whetstone Associates provides consulting services in groundwater hydrology, geochemistry, and hydrologic engineering to clients located throughout the western U.S. and Latin America. We have a strong technical team that focusses on practical, innovative, and cost effective solutions in hydrology, hydrogeology, and geochemistry. Our staff are scientists and professional engineers with a wide range of mining and environmental experience. We specialize in multi-disciplinary projects for permitting, construction, environmental compliance, and closure. From `nuts and bolts` field work to complex hydrogeologic modeling, we provide responsive and reputable results for mining companies, industry, and governmental agencies. Our geochemistry lab specializes in column leaching studies, and developing/quantifying source terms for use in geochemical models and contaminant fate & transport models.
