Epeleuton is a second-generation synthetic n-3 fatty acid derivative that mainly targets the regulation of blood lipids, blood sugar and inflammatory responses. In clinical trials, Epeleuton significantly reduced triglycerides, very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and total cholesterol without increasing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels. Epeleuton also significantly improved glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and fasting blood sugar levels.
