Implants of the Stand-Alone Screws range are intended for fractures fixation, osteotomies and arthrodeses of bones in adults, appropriate for the size of the device. HyLa is an instrument specifically designed for shoulder instability and the Latarjet technique. This last generation guide allows controlling the positioning and insertion of cannulated compressive screws with a safe surgical technique. Our versatile solution favours compression and optimised hold of the stop.

HYLA

  • To facilitate this technique, Hyla is composed of:
    • Positioning guide (targeting guide with parallel cannulas, measurement of stop and length of screw, intra-articular foot, maintenance instrument for fixation of stop and handle for gripping.
    • 2-In-1 cannulated instrument for gripping the stop.
    • Ø3.5 mm partially threaded, self-drilling, self-compressive cannulated screws*
    • Cylindrical-conical profile for progressive insertion in cortical bone
    • Dual differential thread pitch for compression and anchoring
    • * The screws are not available in the HyLa kit, they are available separately in sterile version (S-box)
