Calibration values
The calibration values were assigned using enzymatic kinetic methods for the determination of adenosine deaminase. The calibrator value specified is the mean of the values obtained.

Precautions and warnings
For in vitro diagnostic use only.
Exercise the normal precautions required for handling all laboratory reagents. Product contains highly purified bovine source material from non-BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy) countries. Potential infectious agents in the materials have been inactivated. Since no method can offer complete assurance as to the absence of infectious agents, this material should be handled as though capable of transmitting infectious diseases and disposed as biohazard waste or medical waste according to applicable local and national laws.

This product is made to be used in professional laboratories.

Handling
Carefully open one bottle of calibrator, avoiding the loss of lyophilizate, and pipette exactly 1.0 ml of distilled water. Carefully close the bottle and dissolve the content completely by occasional gentle swirling within 30 minutes. Avoid the formation of foam.

Storage and stability
Store at 2-8°C.
Stability of lyophilized calibrator serum at 2-8°C: up to the stated expiration date. After reconstitution: stability is 7 days when stored at 2-8°C.

Test procedure
Use supplied materials as provided. Additional materials required: automatic micropi-pette, distilled/deionized water, general laboratory equipment.

Assay
Dispense the required volume into a sample cup and use as adviced.
