Details
Skywalker Orthopedic surgery navigation and positioning system is a one of a kind surgical robotic product for TKA. Compared with traditional joint replacement surgery, robot assisted joint replacement surgery can help orthopedic surgeons resolve issues faced during traditional surgery and achieve higher accuracy and efficiency.
Skywalker features a preoperative planning system, which could generate a personalized surgical scheme for patients based on the data collected from 3D CT scanning. It also features a highly dexterous lightweight manipulator and a semi-auto operation mode that allows for smooth completion of the osteotomy process, which improves the operation efficiency, surgical accuracy, as well as reducing the space needed to carry out surgery. Ultimately Skywalker reduces trauma and bleeding for patients during surgery, and enables a faster recovery process post operation.
'Skywalker’s highly precise navigation and positioning system, in combination with semi-automated osteotomy solution, offers surgeon superior surgical outcomes, that reduces trauma and bleeding to patients.' Director Li Huiwu
