Prona Komfort - Protective Stocking for Stump
It is a knitted cover with antibacterial effect made of polypropylene silk. It is produced in tibial and femoral variants, protective or with a silicone ring. The protective sleeves are used on the bare stump. The ring sleeves are used on the prosthesis with a thorn.
The cover is stretchy, soft and very pleasant to the touch (on the inside “terry”). It has excellent functional properties. It provides comfort when worn
92% polypropylene antibacterial yarn, 7% polyester silk, 1% elastane
The cover does not require any special maintenance. We recommend machine washing at 40°C
Indications
PRONA is used as a protective cover for an amputated limb that is fully healed after surgery. The cover protects the leg from external influences (blisters, cold) and at the same time prevents direct contact with the prosthesis.
