ANTIBIOTIC COATED INTRA-MEDULLARY NAIL. Subiton Nail endomedular nail (Pat Pend) is used in infected or high risk patients with diaphyseal fractures in long bones. It is reinforced with a metal core coated with a layer of cement with antibiotic that aids in the treatment of the infection. Subiton Nail is a ready to use, premolded, temporary product. Subiton Nail is implanted with Subiton Nail instrument set.
