With the performance of the familiar FREEDOM60® in an even simpler design for 20ml and 30ml syringes comes the FreedomEdge® – a compact infusion solution that’s easy to use for smaller or often-repeated doses. It is so simple it makes frequent and flexible dosing a reality – in a safe, controlled manner. Just close and go.
The FreedomEdge is specifically indicated for the subcutaneous infusion in the home, hospital, or ambulatory settings when administered according to the approved biologic of the following products:
- Cuvitru®, Immune Globulin Infusion (Human) 20% (manufactured by Takeda®)
- Gammagard Liquid®, Immune Globulin Infusion (Human) 10% (manufactured by Takeda®)
- Hizentra®, Immune Globulin Subcutaneous (Human) 20% Liquid (manufactured by CSL Behring®)
- Hizentra® single-use prefilled syringe
- Empaveli® (pegcetacoplan) injection, 1080 mg/20 ml solution (manufactured by Apellis)
The Freedom Integrated Syringe Infusion System with the FreedomEdge Syringe Driver and Precision Flow Rate Tubing™, is specifically indicated for the intravenous infusion of the following antibiotics when used according to the FDA approved drug product labeling:
- Ertapenem
- Meropenem
- Oxacillin
- Tobramycin
Load
Load prepared 20 ml or 30 ml syringe.
Close
Close the top lid to start the infusion.
Dose
Check infusion using the progress window.
