Plasma in the dental lab

Before dental prosthetics are colored in the dental laboratory, they are treated with the plasma handheld device piezobrush® PZ3. As a result, the monolithic zirconia surface with high-gloss polish is ideally wetted with the fluid, so that an even and esthetic appearance is created.


Without plasma treatment, the color pigments in the fluid often accumulate at one point on the prosthetic. This results in an uneven shading and thus in customer dissatisfaction because the shade of the prosthetic now does not match the natural teeth perfectly.


These are matched by the dental technician with the aid of color templates during the coloring process. In addition, the number of firing procedures can be reduced by the plasma treatment, as the color already glosses often after only one firing process.
