Micropore - Membrane Emulsification Equipment
Double emulsions are used in a range of industries, most usually Pharmaceuticals, Food and Cosmetics, to protect or isolate sensitive ingredients. Micropore’s membrane emulsification equipment uses gentle, low-shear methods to create droplets, exposing them to just enough shear to remove them from the membrane when they are formed. This is in contrast to traditional homogenisation methods, which may draw particles into the high-shear area repeatedly, breaking droplets down and releasing the contents of the primary emulsion.
Micropore - Membrane Emulsification Technology
The Micropore CXF-1 is a high throughput device scaling up Micropore’s membrane emulsification technology, to enable the continuous manufacturing of high-quality emulsions in quantity, whilst retaining a tightly controlled particle size distribution.
Micropore - Membrane Emulsification Technology
The AXF-7 is a high capacity device, offering a further scale up of Micropore’s membrane emulsification technology, to enable the continuous manufacturing of up to 1500kg/hr of high-quality emulsions a year, whilst retaining the same tightly controlled particle size precision that is a feature of all Micropore`s devices.
Micropore - Membrane Emulsification Dispersion Cell
Micropore’s LDC-1 Dispersion Cell is an ideal entry point into Micropore’s comprehensive, robust, controllable and scalable membrane emulsification technology which offers advantages over conventional techniques for producing high quality emulsions and particles.
Micropore - Pharmaceutical Encapsulation Process
The ‘science and art’ of microencapsulation, is a way of taking an active ingredient, using a particular technique to encapsulate it, so that it remains isolated, protected and stable until such time that it is released by a certain trigger mechanism.
